Grants are no longer available, but for most motorists this should not make much difference.

Until recently the Government/Powershift used to give grants to certain vehicles towards the cost of the conversion. Although this sounded good, because of the strict criteria used, most vehicles were not eligible. Of those that were, the approved LPG systems that had to be used tended to be more expensive to begin with, thus making the savings negligible in many cases.
